  • To Whom it may concern. We have worked with Chef2Chef and David Nelson from the very early days and have seen the company and it's products grow and develop into a leading culinary destination on the web. This company is well respected in the industry and has provided us with an incredible amount of qualified real leads. I have no hesitation in fully recommending Chef2chef to any company who is looking to have solid and meaningful exposure. Please free to call me for any details. Sincerely, Kim de la Villefromoy

  • Dave - Just wanted to send you a note to let you know how pleased we are with our ad response from Chef2chef. This year has performed equally as well as the past three years. We enjoy a nice increase in business each year when we launch our seasonal and annual campaign with your site. I feel the ad dollars spent with Chef2chef have been well worth the investment. Keep up the great site and the good work! Sincerely, George Stone, Maine Goodies

  • To Whom It May Concern: Shortly after we launched The Vanilla.COMpany at www.vanilla.com in 2001, we queried Dave Nelson about being a “site of the month” at Chef2Chef.net. Dave quickly agreed, much to our delight. Ironically, we became the “site of the month,” four days after 9/11. No one was paying attention to the Internet and, after the anthrax scare, no one was buying!  Despite this and other challenges as a bootstrap business, we developed an immediate friendship with Dave Nelson and Chef2Chef.net. I frequently turned to Dave for advice on how to increase our visitor base and how to promote products. Within months we took out a yearly ad positioning our business in the Marketplace. When Dave set up his holiday advertising program, we jumped at the opportunity to participate. We also periodically provide a week’s worth of recipes and offer a free drawing for our books in conjunction with the recipes. As we sell vanilla, a seasonal product, the holiday advertising has been very effective for us, especially as we have a year-round presence in the Marketplace, which provides visitor familiarity with our business. Whenever we run a week of recipes our visitors jump dramatically, and hundreds of people sign up for the drawings. Chef2Chef draws a remarkable number of dedicated visitors daily. Their ranking on Alexa.com is impressive and indicative of the number of people who regularly come to his site for recipes, contests, job opportunities and to shop. While it’s impossible for me to quantify exactly how many sales we’ve made because of our presence on Chef2Chef.net (we haven’t a software program that sophisticated), we do know that we have many loyal customers who first learned about us at Chef2Chef.net and return because of the quality of our products. I can’t recommend Chef2Chef.net more highly for advertising exposure and also for the service you will receive from Dave and the rest of his staff. Regards, Patricia Rain, Vanilla Queen.

  • David, I have to tell you that I have been seeing a lot of traffic from your website. I constantly see traffic from pages where my button advertisement on different pages, I log it on a monthly basis. I can say that I have definitely gotten business from my advertising on Chef2chef.net. I am also renewing my advertising for another year. Please feel free to distribute my e-mail address or use me as a reference for any of your potential clients. David Glickman, Owner, The Vermont Butcher Block & Board Company, LLC

  • Our affiliation with Chef2Chef.net has been a great addition to our online marketing strategy. We've received several customer inquires and an increase in Web site traffic through our links on the Chef2Chef.net Marketplace. Kristen McRae, Marketing Manager.

  • If you are thinking about advertising on Chef2Chef, DO IT!! We started advertising Liaison College Downtown a couple of months ago, and first of all the number of hits on our site doubled, but now in just two short months we have enrolled 5 students from the US. Every one of them came through the Chef2Chef site. It really works, so much so, that we are increasing the amount of advertising space we have with Chef2chef. Chef Terry Henderson, Liaison College Downtown, Ontario.

  • They were true to their word, delivering a significant number of visitors to our site and increasing our mailing list by 50%! Real results, that's the bottom line. We intend to use Chef2Chef.net as part of our future marketing strategy. Rick Smith, PiecesOfVermont.com

  • I've been thrilled with the response I've received in working with Chef2Chef. Not only do they have such a large following, they know how to reach that target market in many different ways. I've advertised with all the big names online for seven years now. It is a rare and wonderful experience to get to work with the people at Chef2Chef. They give incredible personal service and respond to you as if you were their only advertiser. I haven't experienced that with ANY of the "big guys" and not many of the others! Sam Young, Marketing Director.

  • The Christmas placement made a big difference in our holiday sales, and visits to my site always increase dramatically when I've provided recipes for the Recipe Club. Patricia Rains, vanilla.com.

  • Recently I learned of the Chef2Chef network. Finding quality candidates in the upper ten percent of the Hospitality Industry is difficult. After using your website, I have found not one but two top professionals with outstanding credentials. I would have never found these individuals had it not been for your website.  Steven M. Samata, National Restaurant Search, Inc., IL

  • I want to thank your on-line service for producing some remarkable chefs.  We've found a wonderful chef couple for our job. I'm sure I'll be back another season to use these services. Thank you! Sarah A, The Mono Inn Restaurant, CA.

  • Compared to the job boards I've used in the past, the best return of qualified candidates has been from Chef2Chef. From a percentage standpoint we were able to hire 30 percent of the candidates that we received resumes from for our listed positions. The best part about Chef2Chef would be its self-efficiency that helped us simplify our recruitment process. At no time were we inundated with hundreds and hundreds of resumes, but instead were only sent qualified candidates for the job. Because of Chef2Chef’s reliability, I continue to use their services and recommend them to anyone considering hiring Restaurant and Hospitality Personnel for their recruitment needs. Carla B., Recruiter, MI

  • I recently posted a job & hired for that position within 2 days from the day I posted. I had 3 good applicants to choose from. Now all I need is cheap housing. Thanks, Chef Don K, PA.

  • Just wanted to say that we at Delaire Winery enjoy the RECIPE CLUB very much. Thank you!

  • Chef David...At last a chef that makes or understands Italian sauces. So far you are right on the money as far as how Italian sauces are made at home... You are the first one that I have seen that doesn't put onions in Marinara...and that is CORRECT! Your recipe is EXACTLY the way it is made at home.  One thing is that we make the pinch of red pepper optional, because of the children. Bravo! *big smile*. Jeanne DeAngelis Ross

  • A couple of weeks ago you had posted some Mediterranean menu's. I just
wanted to let you know I had my bookclub over for dinner and made the

goddess. I look forward everyday for my new menus. Thanks again. Trudy Reid

I've learned a lot of techniques from David and the other chefs who have been featured in the newsletter. Thank you. Leslie
