Best Beers of 2009 Named by the Chef2Chef.net Community

Chef2Chef.net has announced the best beers of 2009, as voted on by the members of the Chef2Chef culinary community. More than 70,000 votes were registered across 12 categories by Chef2Chef.net community members and site visitors. Kwak beer of Belgium was voted the best beer during the annual voting process.

FOSTER CITY, Calif. January 13, 2010 -- Relax and enjoy a pint of Kwak, the Belgian beer was named best beer of 2009 by Chef2Chef.net community members and site visitors. The annual Chef2Chef.net voting process garnered more than 70,000 votes across 12 categories in order to determine the "best of the best in all things culinary."

"Kwak is a traditional Belgian beer commonly known for its rich flavor and the unique glass and wooden stand it's served in," Chef2Chef.net spokesperson, Seth Restaino said. "Our (Chef2Chef.net) community members are well versed in all things culinary including beer. Congrats to Kwak!"

Site visitors comprised of chefs, foodies, culinary school students, and culinary enthusiasts worldwide nominated 100 of their favorite beers in the annual culinary ranking competition and then voted for the best of the best.
