Top Chefs of 2009 Named by the Chef2chef.net Culinary Community

Chef2Chef.net has announced the top chefs of 2009, as voted on by the members of the Chef2Chef culinary community. More than 70,000 votes were registered across 12 categories by Chef2Chef.net community members and site visitors. Christian J. Fischer took top honors in the chef category during the annual voting process.

Foster City, CA (PRWEB) January 19, 2010 -- Chef2Chef.net has announced the top chefs of 2009, as voted on by members of the site's culinary community. More than 70,000 votes were registered across 12 categories by Chef2Chef.net community members and site visitors. Chrisitian J. Fischer took top honors in the chef category during the annual voting process designed to determine "the best of the best in all things culinary."

"We would like to congratulate Chef Fischer for taking the top honors in the chef category," Chef2Chef.net spokesperson, Seth Restaino said. "Our (Chef2Chef.net) community members follow the culinary world very closely; all of the chefs on the top 10 list are very deserving."

Fischer, the corporate executive chef of Lackmann Culinary Services, was one of 100 nominations to make it through the first round of voting. The 10 top chefs of 2009 were ranked by community members and site visitors through a second round of voting. The voting was very competitive, with the many of the chefs separated by the narrowest of margins.
