Culinary Arts Programs At The Art Institute Of Raleigh-durham®

At the heart of this bustling community is The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham®, home to one of The International Culinary SchoolsSM at The Art Institutes, North America's largest system of culinary programs. The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham offers the following culinary arts programs:

  • Culinary Arts. Taught by culinary chefs and other industry professionals, the Culinary Arts program takes you through the fundamentals of culinary technique, from basic cutting skills to menu planning. In addition, you can explore cuisines from around the world and build practical skills in commercial kitchen management. The Culinary Arts program offers hands-on training in student-run restaurants and local internships.
  • Culinary Management. The Culinary Arts Management program prepares you to work on the business side of the culinary profession. You can learn business fundamentals applied to a food service context, with courses in communications, training, management, and marketing.

A Culinary Program in The Triangle
