Hello and thanks for visiting my blog on Chef2chef.com! I'm a student in the Classic Pastry Arts Program at the French Culinary Institute (FCI) in New York City. I was pretty much born with a love of baking. You see, my grandmother, my mother, and I are all connected as the second daughters in our families. We all have the same eyes, the same silly sense of humor, and the same passion for baking. I've been making cakes, cookies, and brownies ever since I can remember, enjoying every lick of the spoon.Baking Joy, One Pastry at a Time
After spending a number of years working in theatre and entertainment, I decided to turn my baking passion into a career! I am now deeply immersed in my studies at FCI and back in touch with the flour, sugar, and eggs that have always made me smile. The French Culinary Institute sets a very high bar and expects nothing less than the best from its students. From day one, I have been pushing myself to give my all, learn from every experience (both good and not so good), and take advantage of my time at this amazing school. My friends say that since I began my studies at FCI, I've never been happier. I agree--I can’t wait to see what the next class holds!
