My last semester begins in two weeks! I can’t wait to dive into garde manager and international cuisine. On the flip side, I also have to take the final baking class I’ve been putting off for a year. Three classes will be challenging while working full time. Oddly enough, I’ll have more time for testing recipes and writing, as I’ll be able to do much of my freelance at home now, instead of on site.
I’ll also need to start thinking more about my career. The freelance has been wonderful, but it’s sporadic — feast or famine. I’d like to take my cooking class series and build that up to become its own business. I’d also like to work for a magazine full time as a recipe developer and food writer. If I can do all of those things, I’ll have found my ideal job.
