Sweet, Sweet Love

Well, love birds, it is that time of the year again! As we all know, Monday is Valentine’s Day. And if you didn’t know, then consider this your reminder! This is usually one of the busiest days for bakeries and I actually have two cakes that I will be making.

Cake Woes
I have been given free reign to decorate each cake how I would like to.The only problem is that I have too many ideas in my head!I would like to decorate these cakes with something fun and unique, other than just the typical heart-shaped cake with “I Love You” written on it.If you have any interesting suggestions, please let me know!

Bee Mine
I love the website Cake Wrecks! If you have not heard of it before, it is a picture based blog dedicated to horribly decorated cakes and cupcakes. Some of the wrecks that are posted on this website are truly amazing; I wonder how people would actually think some of these disasters look decent! One of this weeks post on CakeWrecks.com was a play on candy hearts as decorated sugar cookies.See if you can spot the wreck in the picture below:

I am guessing this persons boss never noticed it!So, if you are ordering anything for valentines day…check for mistakes from heartbroken decorator!
