Ingredients:
2 boneless beef top loin steaks, cut 1 inch thick (about 1-1/4 pounds)
1/2 medium red onion, cut lengthwise into thin wedges
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
4 cups torn mixed salad greens or thinly sliced Napa cabbage
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped peanuts (optional)
Citrus Soy Dressing
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
1 serrano pepper, seeded, finely chopped
1 large clove garlic, minced

Preparation
Procedure:
Place beef steaks on rack in broiler pan so surface of beef is 3 to 4 inches from heat. Broil 13 to 17 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once.
Remove, let stand 10 minutes.
Meanwhile whisk dressing ingredients in small bowl until blended.
Carve steaks into slices. Combine beef, onion and cilantro in medium bowl. Add dressing, toss to coat.
Arrange on top of salad greens on platter. Sprinkle with peanuts, if desired.
Makes 4 Servings
Grilling Note: Place well-trimmed steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, uncovered, 15 to 18 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally.
