- 1 Tbs. dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup champagne or white balsamic vinegar
- 1 small shallot finely minced
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- salt and pepper
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 Tbs. heavy cream
- 2 Tbs. poppy seeds
Preparation
- Place mustard, vinegar, shallot, sugar and salt and pepper to taste in blender and pulse to blend.
- With blender running slowly drizzle in oil and then cream.
- Mix in the poppy seeds by hand and adjust the seasoning as needed.
