Q: What are the benefits of doing this demonstration?


A:
Even more than monetary (and $450 isn't too bad for six hours), this is a great opportunity for you to pass out your business cards and brochures to hundreds of UPSCALE CLIENTS visiting the EXPO Home and Kitchen Design Center during a locally, regionally and nationally advertised kitchen show.


Q: Where and when will I get further Information?

A: You will be given the contact information of the Store Captain. The Store Captain will also receive your contact information. 


Q: What about space constraints, tables, facilities, electricity and the setup?

A: As this will differ from location to location, you will get all of these answers directly from the Store Captain.


Q: How much Food do I need to buy?

A: Just buy the food you need for the actual demonstration. You are not expected to feed anyone.


Q: How large will the audience be?

A: Again, this will vary from location to location. The EXPO Home and Kitchen Design Center Show will be advertised locally, regionally and nationally in print and on the radio. Again, the amount of foot traffic or audience does not affect the amount of food you need to purchase.


Q: What dish should I prepare?

A: Indulgent is the theme. With the varied skills and different regions, there is NO set menu. 
    Do what you can do very well !


Q: Can the three demonstrations be the same?

A: Yes. You are working in a retail environment and the audience will change for each demonstration. You can break up the two hour segment into two 1 hour demonstrations. You can host a question and answer session.


Q: How do I get the supplies from Lindt chocolate?

A: Your will be contacted by Lindt or their representatives.


Q: Do I need to sign the contract?

A: Yes. Without a contract we will substitute another applicant for the location.


Q: I have signed the contract but cannot make it because of another engagement.

A: You need to let us know IMMEDIATELY so that we can find another chef. Unless we hear from you otherwise, we expect you to honor your contractual obligation.
