CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland Range announces the addition of two executive chefs.
Joe Cash comes to Cleveland from Trendco Supply, a Cincinnati-based foodservice equipment dealer, where he was responsible for outside sales and product design. Cash trained at the Cincinnati State Culinary Program and is an expert in the latest combination oven-steam cooking technology. He spent more than 11 years with Wingardner & Hammons, an independent hotel management company, where he managed menu development and design. He has a broad range of culinary experience, including designing and opening multiple restaurant concepts, franchises and chains.
David Ash joins Cleveland from the prestigious Joseph Goode Restaurant in Akron where he was the executive chef. Ash has an extensive restaurant menu development and operations background, having trained under some of the region’s top chefs. He has been featured on the cover of Cleveland Magazine and named one of the area’s five All Star Chefs.
Both chefs report to Roland Gehring, product manager for the new Convotherm Oven by Cleveland, introduced by the company in September. The German-based company was purchased in 1999 by Enodis. The oven has been designed for the rigors of American kitchens and features the Advanced Closed System +3 with “Crisp and Tasty,” “Press-and-Go” and the disappearing door – all pioneered and refined by Convotherm.
