SCHAFER CONDON CARTER EXPANDS PUBLIC RELATIONS UNIT,
HIRES VETERAN PR EXECUTIVE MIKE GROSSMAN
CHICAGO, IL (February 14, 2006) - - Mike Grossman, most recently Director of North American Integration for Publicis’ Manning Selvage & Lee, is taking over the reigns of Schafer Condon Carter’s Public Relations unit. Grossman, who rose through the ranks at Porter Novelli, Burson-Marsteller and Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, is best known in the industry for developing Leo Burnett’s public relations unit from an incubator start-up into an award-winning, freestanding PR agency.
In addition to his Integration role within the Publicis organization, Grossman also headed up PR efforts for major accounts at MS&L. His client background includes the food and beverage industries, packaged goods, health care, financial services industry and trade and technology organizations. Grossman also has received advanced training in marketing, management and crisis management.

While at Burnett, Grossman’s teams received the PR industry’s highest honor, the Public Relations Society of America Sliver Anvil, and both of the American Marketing Association’s top achievement awards, the Effie and the Edison for best new product introduction.
SCC’s Public Relations unit, which was started in 1996, will be re-branded as SCC|Grossman Public Relations.
